Mode Future-facing infrastructure

Built with obsessive craft, visible rigor, and cultural intent.

Energy Audacity with control

Not speculative theater. Real systems, real surfaces, real discipline.

Outcome Technology in service of life

Healing, governance, media, and operations aligned to human flourishing.

Mission

We build technology that gives people more life, not more friction.

The mission is simple: design systems with enough rigor, clarity, and taste that they remove drag, increase capacity, and hold up under real use. Healing, governance, media, and operations are the proving grounds.

Human first

Every product is built to reduce friction and return time, focus, and agency to the people using it.

Engineered thoroughly

Infrastructure, auth, monitoring, and deployment discipline are part of the product, not cleanup after it.

Built to compound

We ship systems that can mature into durable platforms with clear operations, measurable progress, and room to scale.

Services

What I build for you.

I take on a small number of engagements at a time. The right fit matters more than volume. Everything below is built on the same stack and discipline as the 27 apps already in production.

AI Pipeline Integration

LLM features wired into your product correctly.

Multi-provider failover, streaming, tool calling, cost metering. You get running code — not a strategy deck. I've caught a 100× billing bug in production before a single invoice was generated. That's the lens I bring.

  • Anthropic → Grok → Groq fallover chain with per-provider cost tracking
  • Streaming SSE responses, tool calling, and agentic loop scaffolding
  • Fail-closed deploy preflight so a ghost gateway never silently degrades your product

Best for: product teams that have an AI feature to ship but no bandwidth to build the infrastructure correctly.

AI Video Automation

Script trigger → produced video. Weekly, automatically.

ElevenLabs narration, Remotion render, ffmpeg encode, Cloudflare Stream delivery — wired end-to-end so a template trigger drops a finished video without manual production work. Already running in production on Capricast.

  • LLM headline and narration script generation per topic or schedule
  • Professional MP3 narration via ElevenLabs, stored in R2
  • Remotion/ffmpeg render pipeline on GitHub Actions, delivered to Stream

Best for: content creators, course builders, and media brands that produce regular video and want it automated without sacrificing production quality.

Why the enterprise background matters

25+ years operating Fortune 500 UC platforms — 700+ branch migrations, disaster recovery, incident authority. That ops experience shapes every platform I build: runbooks exist, rollback paths are tested, and nothing ships without a health check. You get startup speed with enterprise operational discipline.

Merged PRs -- Every PR reviewed, tested, and merged to main
Commits -- Public, auditable history — nothing force-pushed away
Deployed Apps -- Serverless Workers in production, each curl-verified
Shared Packages -- Reusable modules — every new app ships with auth, payments, and observability already wired

Deploy Discipline

CI green ≠ done. Curl 200 = done.

  • Every deploy is verified by a live curl against the custom domain before CI marks success.
  • Every PR goes through TypeScript strict, ESLint zero-warnings, 90%+ coverage, and a health-check gate.
  • No --no-verify, no @ts-ignore, no suppressed warnings — issues are fixed at root cause.

Operations

$9.11/month. 27 apps. Solo.

27 apps live $9.11/mo infra Zero vendor lock-in

Cloudflare Workers free tier handles most traffic. Costs stay predictable at any scale because the architecture was designed that way from day one.

Engineering Judgment

How we think when it matters.

Billing integrity · caught pre-production

100× LLM cost billing bug — found and fixed before any invoice landed

The LLM metering layer computed costs in cents but applied spending caps in dollars — a 100× under-billing error that would have allowed completely unchecked AI spend. Caught during code review, fixed, and regression-tested before it ever reached production. The kind of problem that only surfaces when you own the full stack and treat every number as load-bearing.
